VISITORS
Currently, it is Chanceford Hall policy that only registered guests have access to our establishment without prior consent from the innkeepers. Please make arrangements ahead of time if you will be having guests over that are not registered to your room.
CHILDREN
As a family-owned establishment with children living on property, we welcome families with well-behaved children 5 years of age or older to stay with us at Chanceford Hall. We have 3 guest rooms that can accommodate families totaling 3-4 guests. Unfortunately we do not allow children under 5 at this time. For their safety, children must stay with their parents at all times while on property. We have an array of games and books that you are welcome to enjoy either in the common areas or in your room while staying with us. Please ensure these are returned in the same condition before leaving property.
PETS
Chanceford Hall does not accommodate pets at this time. Please ask about local kennel facilities that can assist with boarding your pet while you stay with us. We appreciate your understanding.
SMOKING
Chanceford Hall is a non-smoking establishment. Smoking is not permitted in any guest room or indoor common area; this includes e-cigarettes and vaping. There are designated outdoor smoking areas available. Please respect this historic property when smoking outside and do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. A cleaning fee will be incurred for smoking in a non-smoking area.
DAMAGES
Guests are responsible and will be charged for damages that occur to their room and items in their room during their stay. This includes linens, towels, furniture, furnishings in addition to other decorative items. No open flames are permitted, including candles. No items should be removed from individual’s rooms or from Chanceford Hall; this is considered theft and we will have to seek legal action for reimbursement, recovery and prosecution. If there has been any type of spill or accident in the room, please make the innkeepers aware immediately so it can be addressed to avoid permanent damage and you can avoid damage charges being assessed.
A $50 fee will be assessed for lost keys.
QUIET HOURS
Chanceford Hall recognizes quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am to be mindful of other guests that may be sleeping, reading, or relaxing in their rooms. Please keep this in mind when entering or leaving the property so everyone will have an enjoyable stay.
STAIRS
Chanceford Hall was built in 1759 and is accessible by stairs at all entrances. We have one guest room on the first floor and 3 guest rooms on the second floor. Please keep this in mind when booking your stay with us.
